Key Features

  • Soil sampling, soil excavation, and surface restoration near sensitive Wildlife Management Area

This project, located in and around the sensitive Blackleaf Wildlife Management Area in Teton County, MT, consisted of three former gas wellhead sites and their associated dehydration facilities, tank batteries and compression facilities which had been abandoned in the early 1990's.

ERP completed soil sampling, soil excavation, and surface restoration following guidelines developed with input from the Montana Board of Oil and Gas Conservation (MBOGC), Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks (MFW&P), and The Nature Conservancy to achieve site closure.
